We use cookies for example, to better tailor the information, offers and advertising displayed to you to your individual interests. Its use does not mean that we receive new personal data about you as an online visitor. Most internet browsers automatically accept cookies. However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or a message always appears when you receive a new cookie.

Deactivating cookies may mean that you cannot use all the functions of our website.

10) Tracking Tools

We use so-called tracking tools on our website. These tracking tools are used to monitor your surfing behavior on our website. This monitoring takes place for the purpose of the needs-based design and continuous optimization of our website. In this context, pseudonymized usage profiles are created and small text files that are stored on your computer ("cookies") are used.

a) Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that enable your use of the website to be analyzed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. We have also added the code “anonymize IP” to Google Analytics on this website. This guarantees that your IP address is masked so that all data is collected anonymously. The full IP address is only transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there in exceptional cases.

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; we would like to point out, however, that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.

You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by using the browser available under the following link Download and install the plugin: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. We continue to use Google Analytics to evaluate data from double-click cookies and AdWords for statistical purposes. If you do not want this, you can deactivate it using the Ads Preferences Manager (http://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/?hl=de).

We use Google Analytics including the functions of Universal Analytics. Universal Analytics allows us to analyze the activities on our pages across devices (e.g. when accessing using a laptop and later using a tablet). This is made possible by the pseudonymous assignment of a user ID to a user. Such an assignment takes place, for example, when you register for a customer account or log in to your customer account. However, no personal data is forwarded to Google. Even if Universal Analytics adds additional functions to Google Analytics, this does not mean that there are restrictions on data protection measures such as IP masking or the browser add-on.

b) Google AdWords conversion-Tracking

We use the online advertising program “Google AdWords” and conversion tracking

as part of Google AdWords. Google Conversion Tracking is an analysis service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”). If you click on an advertisement placed by Google, a conversion tracking cookie will be placed on your computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days, contain no personal data and are therefore not usedforpersonal identification. If you visit certain Internet pages on our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can tell that you

clicked on the ad and were redirected to this page. Every Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. This means that there is no way that cookies can be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers.

The information that is obtained using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Here, customers find out the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified.

If you do not want to participate in tracking, you can object to this use by preventing the installation of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly (deactivation option). You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. You can find more information and Google's data protection declaration at:protection declaration at:
